After working in a proprietary trading environment for more than a decade, Niels and Vincent founded TreeCap in 2016. TreeCap is built on the philosophy that operational sound business principles will lead to better execution of the investment strategy, and with that performance for our investors and participants. Eduardo joined in 2017 to set up and manage the operational side of the business. The TreeCap Arbitrage Fund was launched in 2017.

In 2024, TreeCap submitted the application to obtain authorization and regulation as an Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) in accordance with the Alternative Fund Managers Directive (“AIFMD”), under the supervision of the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (“AFM”) (www.afm.nl).
